Special events this month include the opening of the 61st season of the Trail of the Lonesome Pine Outdoor Drama at the Barbra Polly Theatre in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Set in Wise County, Virginia at the turn of the twentieth century, the drama follows the love story between Jack and June is played out against a feud that has been boiling for over thirty years between two influential mountain families. Showings are every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings!
Scott County
